Tinybit Line Follower | Micro:Bit

Hey guys! Now its the 4th IT Project on Semester 2!

What is Yahboom Tinybit Line Follower?

The Yahboom Tiny:bit Line Follower is an educational programmable robot designed to automatically follow a black or white line using infrared tracking sensors. It combines the Micro:Bit as the main controller with the Tiny:bit expansion board, which controls the motors, sensors, and movement of the robot. The sensors detect surface contrast and allow the robot to adjust its direction and speed in real time for accurate navigation along a path.

This robot is commonly used in STEM education, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM education focuses on learning through practical activities and problem-solving rather than theory alone. By building and programming the Tiny:bit Line Follower, students learn scientific concepts, coding skills, engineering design, and logical thinking. Hands-on projects like this help students understand how technology works in real-world applications while encouraging creativity and innovation.

Understanding the Line Follower coding is fun, but complicated, so I learn completely 1 by 1, slowly but at least making progress, well that’s all.
